The UNC Center for Nanotechnology in Drug Delivery and the Carolina Institute for Nanomedicine unify diverse technical, scientific and clinical expertise from 10 different departments at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, North Carolina State University, and Duke University to innovate and translate nanotechnology to improve human health.

The Center focuses on discovery and application of novel nanotechnologies, advanced drug-delivery systems and theranostic modalities to diagnose and treat human diseases. The Institute implements novel nanotechnologies and translates discoveries into treatment modalities to improve human health.
